recognition year after year - and has been the sole winner of this award
for GCUW's entire 20 years. A major reason for the success of the
Bandag campaign was the hard work and tenacity of the campaign
coordinator, Mike Romnec.

Campaign Champion Award:
Altec/Creedmoor
- Joe Goenig, Tony Accetello and their team mad etheir campaign
informative and FUN and made their challenging goal with no problem.
Altec
had the largest employee campaign with contributions totalling
$62,000.

Spirit Award:
Selectron/Flextronics of Creedmoor.
John Mainey, Jo Towns, and Teresa Walker served as Campaign Loaned
Executives, challenging their own employees and their friends across
the street at Altec to give generously.

Granville County Schools
team members continue to out do themselves with each annual
campaign. This campaign involves administrators, teachers,
students, and parents - and teaches many lessons about the
importance of giving. This group also enlisted the support of
the Granville County Board of Education, which had 100% campaign
participation.
